| Sup, y'all... Again, I apologize for my extended absence, but hey. Shit happens. But I'd like to mention that life is actually getting BETTER! I've made it thru the shitty part of the No-Job shits, and now all that's left is... well... getting a new one. Hiring season's comin' up, and I'm very hopeful, however... Yeah... its still all up in the air. As long as "return to the USA" is avoided, all will be good.
In other news, Home gyms are great, as they afford me the benefits of working out without the pesky "paying money" restriction. Goal for the 2-quad-zero, to be just as wicked-looking, if not moreso than the Fresh Prince in I Am Legend. Anyone think I can do it? Cuz I SURE AS HELL DONT. Faith for the win, hey?
Anywho, I hope to display more of my brain-diarrhea in coming days, as I literally have NO MORE EXCUSES not to. We'll see...

| Hey LJ Guys... I've been gone for a while. I'm sorry. Been kinda... busy with stuff. SO Busy, in fact, I cannot make a full post. BUT! A friend of mine from a while back sent me a message on Facebook. It was good to hear from him, and it made me think that I owe it to people to keep in touch. I don't wanna seem like I don't care about my friends n' stuff, cuz I do. You guys rock. So here's my keeping in touch :)
As I said before, I cant make a FULL post, but I will keep you updated. And to kill 3 birds with one stone by saving time, maintain my quirky response style, and showing my friends I still care, I replied to my friend with everything that's been happening as an EXCUSE. Dude, my life over the last like 6 months has been effin' RIDICULOUS. Like, it's been SOO fucked up recently that I'm out of touch with everyone (EDIT: You friends here on LJ too.)... It's not your fault, I've just been a bit ... busy. Lemme tell you why. Hehehehehheheheh, ah....here it goes...
I'm not sure as to whether you've heard about what's been happening with my ex-employer, Nova. So, I'll just sum it up in an unbiased, yet abrasive nutshell:
1.) CEO and Founder of the company (hereafter "Dickhead") builds a ridiculous English Conversation school in the 80's by lying to customers and refusing to give refunds. Keep in mind this is large scale, the company was at one time worth $5 Billion USD.
2.) 20 YEARS LATER, Dickhead gets sued for lying to customers and refusing to give refunds on a large scale. Including students who work for the JAPANESE GOVERNMENT.
3.) SO when it went to the Japanese courts, who also took lessons and got fucked over, decided to hand down the mother of all settlements... They had to pay back EVERYONE who wanted any kind of refund, which would have been fine, no problem. BUT THE GOVERNMENT BEING BIASED AGAINST THIS DUDE GAVE THEM ANOTHER ARBITRARY AMENDMENT TO THE SENTENCE. The company would not be able to sign anymore long term contracts, which were the only thing that would EVER sell. That's like telling McDonald's they cant sell BEEF PRODUCTS. That's like telling Blockbuster Video, they cant RENT DVD MEDIA. THAT'S NOT ALL!!! THERE IS ONE MORE ARBITRARY AMENDMENT! They were mandated to HIRE AN ADDITIONAL 400 INSTRUCTORS TO THE INSTITUTION OVER THE NEXT 6 MONTHS. Yeah. That was the court settlement in favor of the people and the government.
4.) Shit hit the fan, and staff didn't get paid. Then the next month, staff and Senior teachers didn't get paid. The following month, staff and Senior teachers and junior teachers didnt get paid. That month happened a second time, and people didn't show up to work. So only then when students all called for refunds is when the public found out. And we weren't told anything. This is when We found out. And now that's when you find out. This happened about 2 months ago.
5.) We complain and don't go to work, and it gets on the news, and then the government knows. And now they're searching for Dickhead. And then the news investigated him and found that he had committed a number of high-felonies:
insider stock trading
embezzling
money laundering for a number of known High Profile Yakuza
misappropriating funds
sexual harrassment
extortion
Dickhead was summoned to appear before the board of directors, and also in front of the government, and he didn't show. Nobody has been in contact with him except for his 'lawyer' who tells all of the media that nothing was his fault and he did nothing wrong. So nobody knows where he is. So after about 3 weeks, the Board of Directors fired him, and the company went under the Corporate Protection Law. And now I am in the process of getting 2 months of Unpaid Wages and monthly Unemployment Insurance.
To pass the time now that I'm Unemployed in Japan, I'm working part time at a Bar. This bar, is pretty cool. I'll sum it up in one sentence. An Israeli owned, Israeli run bar frequented by Saudi Arabian customers located in an area called "America Town" in Osaka, Japan. I also translate stock information for a British company based in Hong Kong.
So.... yeah, That's what I've been doing these last few months... lol I'm a geek.

Yeah, It'll be a much needed break from the ridiculousness that is Japan.

So yeah, these are the things that i've been up to. Nothing special so far... nothing interesting, except for the raves, which completely turned out to be another part of my workout. (heheh) Video Games are damned great, and anyone who thinks differently needs to be 're-educated.'

| Yeah, so it's been another like...what, month since i've posted? Sorry bout that. There's been a lot of nothing going on for the most part. Just work, work, work. Had a day trip to Hiroshima, but i'm not going to talk about it, because im in a GOOD mood at the moment. And in a semi-related comment:
Im sure i'll muster up the patience to write out an explanation to that at some point, but for now that's about all I feel like saying. In other news, Im getting pretty because of my ridiculous gym/bike/healthy-intake combo. I wish I were vain enough to take a picture and post it, but im not. HA! In any case, im still alive and cynical. Haven't had a true weekend in about 2 weeks so this Thurs. and Fri im gonna be gettin' into some stuff. :P

| Wussup Yao'll. Again, it's been a while. And again, there's been some pretty weird thangz happenin' since my last post. So, again, I shall give an update. Only this time, it's not gonna be that long, drawn out, Painful-To-Read-Cuz-Its-Like-Nine-Months-Of-Info-In-One-Post medly to which everyone's grown accustomed. To be honest, things haven't been that hectic since my last post, partially because I've been trying to save money since my last 'spree.' I didn't go to Pure last Thursday, I haven't been going anywhere special (a.k.a - requiring money) in recent days, and work has been pretty normal. I'm actually getting better at it, which is good. All these boring comments begs the question, "Just what in the hell HAVE You been doing these last 2 weeks?" Lets find out~

In Other news... I found out some dirt on that Fuckin' Jamaican. Turns out he's not even Jamaican! He's half Indian, half caucasian! SUNOVABITCH!!! I shoulda known that somethin' was up when he bought styling gel for his hair...i just thought it was a whak-ass'd Jheri curl or somethin'. But no, he's not an ethnic Jamaican. Apparently, He spent the last like 4-5 years in Jamaica, but is originally from Toronto. Another dead give away should have been the frequency with which he says the word "nigga." Genuine blacks who have any self respect refrain from using the word more than, say, 6 times a week. He surpassed that ceiling by a factor no less than 8. Per day.
So I've taken the liberty of changing his name again. He'll now be known as "that Fuckin' Poser."
...So wait a minute, wait a minute...does this new found discovery unlock the right for me to perform a hate-crime on his face for droppin' the N-Bomb?

| (Post Entitled: Liberation...)
So over my day off, after having gone to the bank and done some other running around, I get this text message. It might have been a lot more convenient at the time for me to have just ignored it altogether, but I couldn't. Actually, im glad I didn't. Turns out, it was the ex-lady, and she drops some hardcore knowledge on me, saying that she may be moving to the countryside and getting married. She then says that she'd like to see me one last time before she starts her new life, to which I hesitantly reply "Sure..." I knew better...I totally did, but I couldn't help it. And maybe this would be just what I needed. Either way, I'd soon see...
The clock strikes 8pm, right around time to meet up with the Ex for coffee and a general 'catching up.' We meet for the first time since the break-up, and (totally unforseen by me) the evening progresses as if nothing had ever happened. 5 minutes in and we're laughing and talking about what's been up since we last saw each other, discussing life plans and the future and stuff and in a moment of emotional epiphany, I felt the "I miss you" shift to an "I'm happy for you and wish you the best." It's finally become clear to me that we've both moved on; actually, I've moved on a lot more than I thought. For the first time since the break, I felt like we were actually good friends. Not that awkward "We used to date, but now it's over and im clinging on to whatever I can" friends thing, but a more genuine, less emotional, platonic "we're buddy-buddies" type of thing. Finally, I can completely let go of her. She's no longer in my life, and i'm 100% ok with that (despite what a prior post might have said...) In retrospect, I'm glad that we met and were able to hang out one last time. I'm glad I didn't ignore that text because now it can be said that things have ended on a the best note possible: no hostility, no feelings of regret, just some last-chance good times, and a clear conscience going into our new life adventures. やっと前に向かって進むことが出来るかな・・。
So far, this whole being-in-Japan thing's been a serious upgrade for my life. I've never felt better in all my 22 years on this planet.

| I finally got around to applying for and purchasing my cell phone which was a rather interesting (yet confidence building) experience. I was explaining it to my Ex (yeah, we still talk... I'm a total marshmallow like that) earlier, and had this to say:

Seriously, without fail there's some dumbass who's completely ignorant of what the hell's going on, yet doesn't ask/observe/stfu and get proper instruction, and ends up making me look like bad. Why am I such a fucking pussy about telling people to piss-off? (I should take some Rex-Kwon-Do.) Thankfully, after he left I was able to redeem myself to the Docomo staff by signing up for a cell phone plan in Japanese and not getting unnecessarily shafted. Kudos for the Negro!! (no seriously, I really want some Kudos... those things are damned delicious.)
